Self-Care



During this time of the COVID 19 it is important to take care of yourself. Remembering that it is this time of the year that the normal flu season generally starts as well. When there are several in the household that are unwell, important routines and cleanliness is more important than ever before.


Some simple things can be done to stay on top of your health priorities.

1. Keeping a great positive attitude and mindset.

  • Turn off the TV. Be selective about what information you are exposing yourself to with the news updates that are constantly happening.

  • Limit you social media exposure, its surprising how much time we waste on social media, ask yourself, is it really necessary?

  • Decrease the negativity around you, make mindful connections only.

  • Surround yourself with happy experiences, kindness and fun.

2. Nourish your body with great food.

  • Select fresh produce, its still around!

  • Learn how to enjoy cooking fresh meals.

  • Batch cook for those days when you just don’t feel like cooking.

3. Move your body

  • Keep your exercise routines going

  • Use this isolation time to establish a routine

  • Do movement options that you enjoy.


Stay safe during these times, and look after each other.
